The Glorified ‘Lucky Country’

Let’s talk about life and liberty

In this so-called ‘lucky country’

Adult Indigenous make up 2% of the population

Yet at 28%; face the highest rate of incarceration*

The role of power and social control

Media painting a picture of demonised souls

Yet where did the destruction of an ancient culture begin

Right from the start; from invading and pillaging

A history based on brutality and human rights violations

Instead presented as a glorified part of this nation

So many different eras with just one intention

A genocide so evil;  the sole objective; annihilation

So think for yourselves, before you fall for the portrayal

Of a twisted one sided story of public betrayal

It’s evidently clear who are the perpatrators here

While the real victims languish in jail
